Melitta invented the drip
coffee maker, actually a German lady by the name of Melitta
Bentz, a housewife from Dresden, Germany came up with the idea
to use paper to filter out unwanted residues in 1908. This
invention still is effective today
All you need to do is measure and scoop your grinds into
the filter holder that sits atop the glass carafe. Pour hot
water through and your coffee will drip right into the carafe.
Lid included to cover carafe opening while pouring.
You can make 10 cups of coffee in just 4 minutes,
so if you want it fast they're looking at the right coffee
machine. After the coffee has been made, the warming plate
will keep the coffee warm for many hours. For easy access
to replace the coffee filter there is a swing out cone.
- always clean your coffee maker, it's important to clean
all the sediments left in the carafe or coffee pot
- make sure to use the fresh ground coffee or beans
- use fresh cold water for filtering, you will get the
best flavor this way
- many people are too lazy to make fresh coffee daily.
Never reheat cold
coffee and never brew boiled coffee.
